Mission Statement

The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce shall work for its members and be the leading force in promoting the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and civic interests of Greater Plant City and East Hillsborough County.

Your Chamber

The Chamber is influential at all levels of government.  The Chamber generates and maintains an active membership and is responsive to the members’ economic and business interests; serves as the main economic resource for its members; and actively seeks and develops opportunities for economic growth through business recruitment, business retention, and downtown enhancement.

The Chamber staff is educated, experienced, and competent.  The Chamber operates with state of the art efficiency, is technologically up to date, and operates from a professional headquarters. Additionally, the Chamber is soundly and efficiently organized into appropriate divisions, councils, committees, and programs.

The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce is located in Historic Downtown Plant City, Florida.  Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tourist Information Center

The Tourist Information Center is at 1702 North Park Road, just South of I-4, Exit 22.  Volunteers staff the Center 363 days a year, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closing only on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

Union Station Welcome Center (Depot)
The Union Station Welcome Center (the “Depot”) is at 102 North Palmer Street in Historic Downtown Plant City and houses a mini railroad museum.  The Welcome Center, staffed by volunteers, is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with extended hours for special downtown events.
